Guest: Mark Van Steenwyk

What does it look like for a church, and it's people, to truly be subversive. Not just subversive or activist-like for the sake of being so; but instead to try to further the Kingdom of God. Mark and I discuss what that looks like. What a society that is turned on it's head with the church doing the work that we are all to trusting of the government to do?

Bio: For nearly 15 years, Mark has sowed seeds of subversive spirituality throughout North America. He co-founded the Mennonite Worker in Minneapolis in 2004 with his wife Amy. He also currently serves as the Executive Director for the Center for Prophetic Imagination. Mark is the author of That Holy AnarchistThe unKingdom of God, and A Wolf at the Gate.
